“When starting a new business one has to be sure that the expenses are in check including fixed and non fixed. We started our practice “Texas State Optical-Katy” in December of 2005. I was referred by one of my relatives to talk to TransNet Payment System about our credit card processing. I knew from the beginning that most of our payments are going to be by check or credit card, therefore, it was very important that we find a company who would not only give us a better rate, but also a good service.

I am so glad that I called TransNet and talked to the owner, Akbar who invited me to their main office to discuss our needs. He showed me his office and the technology he was using then, which was cutting edge at that time. After talking for a few minutes, I knew that I was at the right place. My application process was a breeze and they were not pushy at all with purchasing new equipment. They programmed my existing terminal within a day, and we were ready to accept most of the major credit cards on our opening day.

As our business was growing, we realized that for our optical department we needed another terminal, so that our opticians would not have to go to the front desk to run the credit cards.  I called TransNet and spoke with Sarfaraz.  He suggested a wireless FD400 terminal, and again he did not try to push the sale at all. He recommended that we should go with a refurbished unit, which would come with a warranty and also add a pin pad to take debit cards so that our fees would go down since we have such a high volume of credit cards. We have implemented this in our office and have seen our fees go down. Our patients are loving the fact that we can process the payments right at our dispensing table.

I have been extremely pleased with TransNet Payment System and the service they provide. Their customer service is excellent, and the most important thing is the follow up they do which is rare now with some other processing companies. I would recommend them to anyone.”
