Straightforward Pricing with No Hidden Fees
We offer several pricing programs depending on how your business operates and what works best for your customers. During your onboarding, we will walk through each option with you and recommend the one that makes the most sense for your situation.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to processing costs. The right program depends on your average ticket size, your monthly volume, your industry, and how your customers prefer to pay. Our team will do the math with you before you commit to anything.
Interchange Plus Pricing
Interchange Plus is one of the most transparent pricing models available. With this structure, you pay the actual interchange rate set by Visa and Mastercard, plus a small markup that goes to your processor.
This model is a good fit for businesses with higher transaction volumes because the interchange component stays consistent regardless of how your processor prices things. You can see exactly what each transaction costs and why.

Good for:
- Medium to high-volume merchants
- Businesses that want full visibility into their processing costs
- Merchants who want to compare pricing across providers accurately
Surcharge Program
With a Surcharge program, a small fee is added to credit card transactions only. Cash and debit transactions are not affected. The Surcharge is disclosed to your customer at the point of sale and is limited by card network rules.
This program allows you to recover some or all of your credit card processing costs legally, following all applicable state laws and card brand regulations. Not every state permits surcharging, and our team will confirm whether this option is available in your location before setting it up.

Good for:
- Businesses in states where surcharging is permitted
- Merchants who want to reduce their monthly processing expenses
- Locations where customers are accustomed to or accepting of a card fee
Cash Discount Program
A Cash Discount program displays a higher price for card payments and offers a discount to customers who pay with cash. This is one of the most popular ways for businesses to offer what amounts to 0% processing on card transactions.
Unlike surcharging, Cash Discounting is legal in all 50 states. The pricing is presented as a discount for cash rather than a fee for cards, which makes it easier to communicate to customers. We handle the compliant signage and receipt language as part of setup.

Good for:
- Any type of retail or service business
- Merchants who process a meaningful volume of card transactions each month
- Businesses looking to reduce or eliminate processing fees entirely
Flat Rate Pricing
Flat Rate pricing means you pay a single fixed percentage on every transaction, regardless of the card type or payment method. There are no interchange variables or tiered categories to track.
This model is simple to understand and easy to budget for. The tradeoff is that it may not be the lowest cost option for high-volume merchants, since the Flat Rate is designed to cover average interchange costs across all card types.

See How Your Current Rates Compare
If you are already processing and want to know whether you are paying too much, send us your most recent processing statement. We will review it at no cost and give you a clear picture of where your money is going and whether we can do better. We review statements for businesses processing $10,000 or more per month.
A Note on Fees
Every merchant account includes certain base fees, such as monthly service fees, PCI compliance fees, and equipment costs if applicable. We go over all of these with you before you sign anything. We do not believe in locking people into agreements they did not fully understand.
If you have specific questions about what a particular fee means or why it appears on your statement, call us. We will explain it in plain terms.
