Point Of Sale

Transnet Enterprises, Inc.

Full POS Systems Built Around Your Business

A point of sale system does more than process a payment. It tracks your inventory, manages your staff, stores customer data, generates sales reports, and ties all of that activity to the transactions flowing through your merchant account.
When the payment processing side of a POS system is configured correctly, you get cleaner data, fewer reconciliation problems, and a clearer picture of how your business is performing.
We work with merchants across retail, restaurant, hospitality, and specialty industries to identify the right POS platform and handle the merchant account integration so everything works together properly.

Terminal vs. Full POS: What Is the Difference?

A stand-alone terminal accepts card payments and prints receipts. It does not track inventory, manage tables, or generate business reports. A full POS system does all of those things and includes payment acceptance as one component of a larger workflow.

Whether you need a full POS or a basic terminal depends on the size and complexity of your operation. A single-chair barbershop has different needs than a restaurant with 20 tables, and a retail chain with five locations has different needs than a single-location gift shop. We help you figure out which category fits, and we do not push a more complex setup on a business that does not need one.

What We Provide with POS Solutions

POS Platform Selection and Guidance

There are a lot of POS systems on the market, and the differences between them matter depending on your industry. A restaurant POS needs to handle table management, kitchen tickets, and tip adjustment. A retail POS needs to handle inventory by SKU, customer profiles, and gift card redemption. We work with you to narrow down the options that actually suit your business and budget.

Merchant Account Integration

The POS hardware is only part of the picture. The payment processing needs to be integrated correctly so transactions settle at the right rates, batches close on schedule, and your reporting matches across both systems. We handle the merchant account side of the integration so you are not left troubleshooting payment issues after the POS vendor has handed things off.

EMV and Contactless Ready

Every POS setup we support is configured for EMV chip cards and contactless payments. Your customers can pay with a chip card, a tap card, or a mobile wallet without any additional steps on your staff's part.

Multi-Location Support

If you operate more than one location, we can set up your processing so all locations report under a single account structure. This simplifies reconciliation and gives you a consolidated view of sales performance across your business.

POS-Specific Features by Business Type

The features that matter depend on your industry. We work with POS solutions that support the following depending on your setup:

Reporting and Business Analytics

A properly set up POS system gives you access to daily and weekly sales reports, top-selling items, peak transaction times, and staff performance data. We make sure the reporting you care about is accessible and accurate from day one.

Already Have a POS System?

If you are happy with your current POS software but want to review your processing rates or fix integration issues, contact us. We work with a large number of POS platforms and can often improve the payment side of your existing setup without requiring you to change systems.

If your current POS and your processor are not communicating correctly, you may be experiencing batch settlement problems, transaction downgrades, or reporting discrepancies that are costing you money or creating extra work for your team. We can diagnose those issues and address them.

How to Get Started

Tell us what type of business you run, how many locations you have, and what your current setup looks like. We will ask a few questions, recommend a direction, and walk you through what the setup process involves, including timeline, costs, and what you can expect on day one.
